Founded in Osaka by 2023 World Barista Champion Boram Um and his head coach Marcia Yoko Shimosaka, ULT Coffee Roasters was built around a single ambition: the ultimate cup of coffee. Boram is also a second-generation coffee producer, and his family farm in Brazil gives ULT a rare, farm-to-cup view of every coffee it roasts.

Many begin at Fazenda Um, the family’s farm in Brazil’s Serra da Mantiqueira, where ULT oversees every step from growing and processing through to roasting and brewing.
