Terraform Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roastery based in Shanghai, founded in 2019. Their philosophy centers on origin-first sourcing: the team travels regularly to growing regions to build direct relationships with estates and farmers, developing custom micro-lots and prioritising honest expression of variety and terroir over scores alone. Every batch is rigorously cupped to keep flavour consistent and true to origin. On their roasting operation, Terraform runs a dedicated facility using Loring S15 and S70 roasters, tailoring profiles by format — either filter or espresso — while keeping flavour expression of each coffee well calibrated
Terraform is also a certified B Corp, the 85th such business in China, reflecting a broader commitment to low-carbon production, recyclable packaging and employee well-being alongside coffee quality.
