Origami Harmony Cup
This cup was created in collaboration with Ryan Wibawa, the Indonesian Brewers Champion (2016/2024).
With its carefully considered shape and color, this cup combines beautiful design with functionality, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from everyday coffee breaks to cafes and barista competitions.
- Aroma-enhancing shape -
The basic shape of the Harmony Cup is based on the structure of the ORIGAMI "AROMA Series," designed to firmly lock in the aroma of coffee and allow the rich aroma to spread as you drink. The complex and fruity aroma of specialty coffee fills your nasal passages the moment you lift the cup, allowing you to deeply feel the flavor even before you take a sip. This ability to retain aroma is made possible by a design that minimizes the escape of aroma within the cup, allowing you to enjoy the charm of coffee to the fullest by maintaining the aroma and warmth until the last sip.
- Rim shape that smooths the flow of coffee -
The rim of the Harmony Cup features a gently sloping angle that spreads smoothly, designed so that when you tilt the cup, the coffee spreads naturally across your tongue. This controls the "contact point" with your mouth, allowing the coffee to spread smoothly in your mouth and further enhance the sweetness and body unique to specialty coffee. Furthermore, the flared rim shape also plays a role in controlling the flow, spreading the liquid like a "surface" and flowing into the mouth, touching the entire tongue (from tip to center to sides to back), making it easier to perceive the spread of flavor. You get a consistent taste with every sip, and the structure is designed so that the barista's dedication to coffee extraction is directly conveyed to the drinker.

The basic shape of the Harmony Cup has a strong relationship with the Aroma series, but another is the adoption of the rim shape of the Pino. The Pino rim shape is a shape that gently curves outward. This shape makes it easier for the liquid to spread across the entire tongue, and is designed so that flavors such as acidity, sweetness, and body are perceived in a well-balanced way. The rim shape, designed to spread the rich flavor of specialty coffee across the entire tongue, particularly highlights acidity and fruity flavors, while capturing sweetness in the center of the tongue and a slight bitterness at the back, providing a diverse taste experience.
